Azx

(Born August 6th, 1984) Azx is a southerner from Amuwo Odofin in Lagos State. He grew up in the district of Satellite Town of Lagos State.
He attended Loral Nursery and Primary School and completed his Senior Secondary at Model College Ojo, Lagos; Later on he studied Business Administration at Lagos State Polytechnic. He grew up in a polygamous home of 5 wives and 21 children .His parents were interested in his music career until their death. He derives his inspiration from his environment and music from the likes of Fela Anikulapo Kuti,Plantashun Boiz,Sound Sultan,Alh Saheed Osupa, Alh. Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and 9ice.
During his secondary days, Azx formed a group called flamodix, but later changed the name due to the cause of the meaning by his mentor, Sound Sultan. He later left the group to kick up a solo track ,year 2000; he did his first single titled “Timo Ban Sere” which was well accepted back then.
He is known for the use of Yoruba language in his music, but mixes it along with little Yoruba proverbs, Pidgin English, sometimes Ibo. Azx embraced his language to sing song that relates with his environ and his people.
